From cookie butter to everything but bagel condiments, Trader Joe’s Products has attracted an extremely strong following from customers. And while it may seem like the beloved grocery chain rolls out a new item every time you visit the store, it also means that, for the sake of store space, some products need to be sell it — even fan favorite.

This year is full product release and production shutdowns, many of which have been relatively quiet. But shoppers weren’t left in the dark, thanks to an update from their Instagram account @traderjoestobediscontinued.

So, let’s go back in time and revisit things that no longer exist on store shelves. Here are 10 Trader Joe’s items that have been discontinued from 2021.

Trader Joe's Chocolate Chip Sandwich Cookies

These crunchy chocolate chip sandwiches were discontinued in June and many Trader Joe’s fans were left disappointed by the news. One shopper commented on Instagram announcement by @traderjoestobediscontinued, “NO!!!!!!! This is an ADDITIONAL 😭😭😭😭,” while another user who “tried [the cookies] based on the responses to the post, “add on,” … now I regret that I even tried them because they were awesomegggg and they will soon be gone. “

To be fair, Trader Joe’s chili lime condiment is quite popular with the crowd, but the taste mayonaise not enough to keep it on its own. Made with concentrated lime juice, anchor chili powder and chipotle chili powder, this Mexican-inspired condiment may not be on the grocery store shelf anymore, but you can still get a jar on Amazon for $12.45.

On December 2nd, @traderjoestobediscontinued announced that Barbeque Popped Ridges will soon be discontinued. The announcement caused an uproar from fans. @traderjoescravings commented on the post, “Nooo!! I have a bag on my kitchen counter right now. They’re so good! 😋.”

Another commenter highlighted the action by writing, “If enough people are interested and contact Trader Joe’s, it’s possible they will return it if their need is popular. I love these and will. send email.”

Like the Chili Lime Mayonnaise, the BBQ-flavored snack is being sold elsewhere on the internet — so you can buy a bag on eBay for $6.88.

Released in 2019, Trader Joe’s Broccoli and Kale Pizza is a gluten free, tarpaulin covered with vegetables for toppings on pizza—and no longer in TJ’s freezer section.

It also doesn’t have the greatest appeal for many consumers. Instagram account @traderjoesobsessed, who has more than 540,000 followers, wrote on Post by @traderjoestobediscontinued, “Ok, I’m not mad about this 😂,” while another user commented, “Won’t lie… thanks GOD.”

Trader Joe's Legendary Nut & Berry Mix

As of July, Legendary Nut and Berry Mix lives up to its name: it’s now just a legend. The blend includes almonds, cranberries, raisins, cashews, blueberries, walnuts, and raspberries. If you’re missing out on this one, don’t worry, as Trader Joes’ wide selection of trail combo options isn’t coming any time soon.

Another product of 2019 caught the eye this year. This hot sauce hummus didn’t last long, and its breakup was met with mixed reactions..

In a 2019 review by The KitchnElizabeth Sherman had positive things to say about the dip, calling it “snacks heaven”. However, she notes that it has a “slightly unsatisfying texture” as it’s “steamy and thin.”

One Instagram user echoed a similar sentiment about hummus consistency on October post by @traderjoestobediscontinued, wrote, “I think it’s watery and smells bad to me. I don’t think it has much of a buffalo flavor either…”

This lots of fiber, protein-packed tortilla chips boots in the summer—And shoppers have had mixed reviews. One Instagram user wrote, “WHY. These are great with pepita salsa☹️”, while others weren’t too shared on the news. Another commented: “Wish they didn’t sell these when I was a kid so my mom would buy us normal freakin tortillas that don’t taste like an ashtray.”

Usually combined with vegetables or crackers, This Blue and Cheddar Pub Cheese gets the ax in October. While pub cheese is simply a crowd favorite for the folks here reddit theme, Reddit user @SimplyBohemian, who started the thread when the cheese layer was still available, noted, “I think the flavors mix very well! More green in the beginning and a darker finish on the cheddar.”

And Trader Joe’s fans aren’t too thrilled when heard that this cheese was sold out of the store, with one saying, “OKAY NOW PERSONAL”, and another commenting “Love this cheese!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Why? “

This low-carb, protein, gluten-free pasta alternative made with black bean flour was discontinued last spring. Another one-ingredient pasta, though, reigns supreme in the grocery store’s pasta category: Hearts of Palm Pasta-which Recently named one of Trader Joe’s Healthiest New Products.
