10 things Elon Musk can do on Twitter

I wouldn’t dream of telling Elon Musk, who recently became Twitter’s top shareholder, how to make a profit. But I do know something about freedom of speech. If Mr. Musk is serious about making the social media giant a force for free speech, here are 10 things he can do:

1. Leave more content open. Twitter has rules about posts, and most of the enforcement is done by artificial intelligence. The algorithms are more geared towards removing material that may violate the Twitter Rules. Instead, they should remain on the site, leaving questionable material behind until human verification has taken place.
