10th Anniversary Final Fantasy XIV Side Story Release
Final Fantasy XIV celebrates its 10th anniversary with a collection of side stories titled Tales under the New Moon. You can read them on the official website. Only one story is available at the moment. However, three more will appear over the course of September 2023.
The first published side story is titled “As Azura Fades”. The main roles are played by Estinien Varlineau, Haldrath, Aureniquart and Berteline. In it, Estonia experiences a dream vision from the perspective of Haldrath, one of the founding fathers of Ishgard. Meanwhile, Aureniquart and Berteline keep their oath to Haldrath.
three more Final Fantasy XIV Side stories are slated to release in September. The release dates for them are as follows:
- Side Story 2: September 1, 2023
- Side Story 3: September 8, 2023
- Side Story 4: September 15, 2023
So far, numerous other celebratory events and collaborations have been announced to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary. The game is running a special event in partnership with where players can submit screenshots of their characters in stylish outfits Vogue Japan. Japanese chip brand Koikeya recently released a theme Final Fantasy XIV also potato chips that sold out in one day. It was also announced that a 10th anniversary commemorative book will be released this winter, documenting the history of the game since its release.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. It will also be released for the Xbox Series X in spring 2024.
