12 Valorant Skins Nobody Wants in the Night Market

The first Valorant Night Market of 2023 is taking place this week, bringing discounted skins for those ready to grab a bargain. Of course, not all skins are created equal and some are far more desirable than others. Inevitably, however, there always seem to be a few unpopular ones that somehow always pop up. With that in mind, here is a list of 12 Valorant skins that we think we can safely assume no one would want to see at their night market. This article was recently updated.
Smite knife

How could we not start our list with the most infamous of all skin lines? The Smite Knife has achieved meme status as a skin, leading players to believe they’re getting a potentially solid discounted skin, only to bring disappointment when they see it appear. While only the knife has been singled out in this list, the same logic can be applied to the Smite Classic, Phantom, Judge, and Odin.
Gallery Classic

There’s a classic skin for everyone in the game. From Prime Classic to RGX Classic to Spectrum and Glitchpop Classics and even the Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster Classic, there’s something for everyone. For those who are on a tight budget or don’t have one at all, the agent-specific ones you get when you fully complete their contracts can also feature cool themes and color schemes, like KAY/O’s Fire/Arm Classic or Chambers Finesse Classic.
With that in mind, why would you want to spend the money on a skin that isn’t anywhere near the same level of quality as the one you can get for free by playing the game? Ultimately, that’s the dilemma you face when the Galleria Classic appears in your night market. For skin that looks like it was badly broken in with a watercolor brush kit, it’s probably not worth your Valorant points, even at a discounted price.
Luxurious spirit

When Valorant was in its infancy, weapon skin options for players were sparse, meaning those wanting a change in aesthetic had to either bite the bullet on the default skinless weapons or find something that would work with their limited Number of weapons choices suited to them.
In fact, those who have been playing since the beta remember that the Luxe Ghost used to have two other variants: a red base variant similar to the blue base variant currently in the game, and a camouflage theme that bears resemblance to the green camouflage variant of the Recon Ghost . Unfortunately, the lack of color variants and a massive selection of premium and free-agent specific Ghost skins have resulted in more appealing options over the Luxe Ghost. Similar to the Galleria Classic, even if the skin comes at a discount, it’s not worth spending your Valorant points on.
Battle in the winter wonderland

Ok, so there is indeed a time and place for the Winter Wonderland theme. It has a festive vibe that always feels appropriate for the holiday season, but we’re pretty sure no one will be buying it at their night market in February 2023! And if you do, then the Martial is definitely not the right weapon! It is the melee or bust.
Tethered Realms Ghost

Similar to the Nebula Guardian, the green screen skins all have neat effects and their own niches; However, the range of solid skins for the Ghost is quite wide, which means competition for the attention of potential buyers is tough.
Additionally, since the weapon model is based on the Sovereign Ghost, it’s easy to see where players might perceive the Tethered Realms Ghost as a downgraded version of the very popular Sovereign skinline. This is an easy pass for us.
Convex Bulldog

Investing in a new Bulldog skin is always a big challenge. It’s a niche weapon, after all, which means it better be a damn good-looking design if you’re going to shell out for one. The Convex Skin line certainly doesn’t fall into that category. It’s almost as if Rush and Luxe had a baby and then sneezed on it. Nobody buys that. Bad luck if it’s in your store.
Silvanus operator

There are so many good operator skins in the game that the Silvanus operator just falls short. If your notoriety can be reduced to “that one skin that only gets attention when it shows up at the night market,” few words need be said of its appeal.
Even the Minima Operator, which has gained meme status for being inspired by Roblox with its blocky design and scope reminiscent of a school-day overhead projector from the ’90s and 2000s, may be loved by some for that alone . However, the Silvanus operator doesn’t possess enough of these qualities to justify its purchase, even at a discount. Well, unless you’re a big fan of snowy vistas and log cabins, that is…
Titanmail Vandal

Oh boy, the Titanmail skin had so much potential when we first read the description and saw a glimpse of its design. But then you stare a little closer and realize it’s an ugly beast. It’s certainly not the worst thing you could end up with at your night market, but it’s one of those frustrating designs that you wish had a little more attention.
Spline Phantom

This is going to be quite controversial as the Spline series as a whole is quite polarizing. Some see it as underrated, while others find the design bears too much resemblance to squid and squid, which might not conjure up the most pleasing imagery for some. If, like us, your opinion of the series is more negative than positive, you will most likely refrain from purchasing much of the series.
avalanche marshal

Here’s another skin that, like the Luxe Ghost, was brought from beta to the game’s official release, but for the most part has been surpassed by more recent releases in the store and from the Battle Pass. It sets itself apart from the green screen skin type by bringing a more polished and rounded design to the table overall, but there are simply better options to choose from. If you find this at your night market, chances are you’ll sugarcoat it and save your Valorant points for something else.
Horizon Bulldog

The bulldog is already an underused weapon by many. It has a niche in the meta, but that niche is skipped by most players; You either buy a Specter or save up for a better rifle. And when you’re in the mood for a cheap, long-range weapon, the Guardian is so much more satisfying to use, right?
Buying a skin for such a niche weapon is already a big decision. This particular one is also a part of the “Green Screen” skin type, which has had fewer than stellar releases, like the Silvanus operator mentioned above. While a pretty sunset can always be appreciated, this one doesn’t capture the phenomenon well enough to justify spending your Valorant Points on it.
Sensation Odin

It’s tragically easy to forget that the Sensation skin line exists in Valorant, despite the long, flowing lines that reach down to the weapon and the purple and pink accents that are certainly loud but definitely not for everyone. The art style itself feels like it was inspired by a trip to an art museum…or just a trip.
Even with such a vibrant look, the Sensation skins don’t manage to stand out from the crowd without some cool effects, and for that reason we’d give it a hard pass.
