15-year-old dies after being shot in Montgomery

A 15-year-old boy was shot dead, according to Montgomery police.
According to police, the shooting happened around 10:10 p.m. Friday at Block 4800 of Park Towne Way, which is off Troy Highway. According to police, the boy was taken to a hospital, where his death was pronounced.
Detectives have launched a murder investigation. They say the circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation. No further information was released.
