2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament
The field for the NCAA women’s basketball tournament will be announced Sunday. 68 teams (32 automatic qualifiers who won their conference tournaments and 36 at-large selections) will be seeded across four regions.
The tournament begins with two play-in games on Wednesday and two more play-in games on Thursday. The first and second rounds will be played from March 17th to 20th in the home arenas of the top 16 players. The Sweet 16 will take place at two neutral locations on March 24-25, and the Elite Eight will follow on March 26-27. The Final Four will be played in Dallas, with the national semifinals on March 31 and the championship game on April 2.
