According to the NFL reporter Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk 790 in Houston, on Tuesday, January 11, 49ers tried three players from special teams: Cameron Nizialek, Garrison Sanborn and Ryan Winslow.

Cameron Nizialek

Nizialek is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-footed baller.

The 26-year-old began his college football career in the Ivy League: Boom for Columbia University from 2014 to 2016.

According to him Columbia Biology, Nizialek broke the school’s record for average yards per hit at 41.3. He won the All-Ivy League second team title in his final season with the Lions. Nizialek has also handled on-field goals for the Lions – with Nizialek scoring eight attempts in 2015.

Nizialek then transferred to the University of Georgia in 2017 as a graduate transfer. He went on to raise his average to 45 in his only season with the Bulldogs. He’s perhaps best known among Georgia fans for hitting a 61-yard runner with his foot in the Rose Bowl win over Oklahoma.

Nizialek didn’t go straight to the NFL right after Georgia. He stayed at Peach State but signed with the defunct American Football League (AAF) Atlanta Legends. According to an article dated January 28, 2020 from The Athletic, Nizialek used the league as a vehicle to get to the NFL.

After the league shut down, he made his way to the Baltimore Raven in August 2019. Since then, he’s been with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons and, more recently, the Pittsburgh Steelers – who added him to the practice team on Christmas day but released him before the season finale against Raven on January 4.

Ryan Winslow

Winslow was another gambler who was tested by the ‘Niners.

Unlike Nizialek, he has experience in the NFC West.

27-year-old Winslow has had two competitions with the Arizona Cardinals: First in 2019 and then for a game (Christmas vs Indianapolis Colts) in 2021 according to Refer to professional football.

The 6-foot-5, 217-pound player has one thing in common with Nizialek – he’s also been through the AAF. He has played for the San Diego Fleet and the Memphis Express.

Winslow’s other assignments include the Carolina Panthers, the Washington Soccer Team and Green Bay Packers. Of the three, WFT represents his last NFL recruiter with the team that added him Eve.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native played collectively at Pittsburgh, where he won the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) First Team title. in 2017.

Garrison Sanborn

Sanborn was the oldest of this trial trio at 36 years old.

He is also the only player who does not play football, but has dedicated his entire career to the players.

A 6-foot-1, 240-pound snapper begins his career in 2009 with the Buffalo Bills. He was Released by the franchise on March 6, 2017.
