Pepe charged into the box and, after great footwork from a tight angle, slotted in at Hugo Lloris’ near post to put a gap on Lucas Hernandez. But ex-Arsenal star Giroud took just three minutes to react, heading in a Theo Hernandez cross before Nkunku headed in.
