A drier and milder weather pattern is in store

A frontal border will stretch south and through the area overnight through Thursday. We anticipate some showers and possible T-storms to accompany the frontal passage. It appears that the system is weakening and this will prevent storms from spreading over us. The front will build up over Southeast Alabama on Thursday. This could be the area where more T-storms are developing Thursday afternoon. In all other areas it is noticeable that the air is a little drier in the state. Northwest winds ensure a milder air mass. Beginning Friday and into the weekend, morning temperatures will begin in the mid 60’s and afternoon highs in the low 90’s. We expect lots of sunshine and drier air masses. These are very nice weather conditions for all your outdoor plans. This weather pattern will continue until Monday, but humidity will return on Tuesday. We need to introduce the possibility of late Tuesday showers. On Wednesday there appears to be a better chance of rain and possibly a few severe storms.
