Let’s not count Tom Brady stands out when we talk about fan bases! A person spent $2.4 million Securing a signed Brady Rookie Card. The sale acc TMZ, is the biggest this year for a soccer card in a public auction.
As I said, the little coin maker is pretty exclusive! It was one of 100 produced – originating in the USA 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket set to. PWCC Marketplace was responsible for auctioning off the collectible.
Millions worth of card within 24 hours of auction start
More than 80 of the cards have been rated with condition grades. However, none surpassed the rating assigned to the $2.4 million card. The ‘piece of cardboard history’, as described by PWCC, has been classified as new, meaning pristine condition. The perfect autograph quality of the card contributes to its attractiveness.
“This is a highly desirable card with the greatest quarterback ever played in this game,” said PWCC manager Jeese Craig.
And while $2.4 may sound hefty to some. The card generated this type of big-spender energy in less than 24 hours. Corresponding TMZ, The bid surpassed the $1 million mark 16 hours after opening.
Brady remains committed to football to this day
More than 20 years after the rookie card production, Brady still refuses to leave the field — even with a seemingly troubled personal life. On Thursday (October 20) Tom revealed at a press meeting that he has no plans to hang up his jersey.
“I love the sport and I love my teammates,” said Tom. “And I want to do a great job for this team like I’ve always done. No retirement in my future.”
His statement comes a few weeks after a page six Report claimed Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen, Divorce lawyers involved. Additionally, reports revealed that Tom and Gisele were reportedly living apart for several months in 2022. Tom’s decision to retire last year and then retire in March this year allegedly caused a breakout in their relationship.
“In the last two months I have realized that my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates and I love my supportive family,” Tom wrote in a social media announcement. “Without her none of this would work. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. We have unfinished business.”
Brady’s tenacious spirit remains strong, though he admits that’s what NFL seasons feel like “Road to military action” in a recent episode by Kevin Durant Let’s go. Brady also said that while a player plans to play more off the field during a season, the plans may not pan out.
“The reality is when it comes down to it, your competitiveness takes over and as much as you want that play balance with the work balance – you’ll end up doing exactly what you’ve always done which is why you are who you are,” said Brady.
