A few showers/storms are possible on Wednesday in winter. Until Thursday

If the weather is calm, continue. Most of the week the weather will be mostly sunny, but mainly dry. Temperatures range in the low to mid 90’s for highs and in the upper 60’s to low 70’s for overnight lows. There is nothing unusual about this weather constellation and it looks like we will be there for several days. High pressure is the main weather feature and will last through Wednesday. A frontal border will advance south into the area Wednesday night into Thursday. Showers and possibly a few T-storms may accompany the frontal passage. The front will form over southern Alabama, pushing drier air into most of the area. Our southernmost counties remain at risk of showers or storms on Friday and Saturday. The rest of the area will be predominantly sunny and dry again. Temperatures will be in the low 90’s for highs and in the mid to high 60’s for overnight lows.
