A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the “freak” death of ice hockey star Adam Johnson

An arrest was made in connection with an ice hockey performance Adam Johnson‘s death.

People noted that under British law the suspect is not named until charges have been laid. Chief Detective Inspector Becs Horsfall told BBC on Tuesday:
“Our investigation was launched immediately following this tragedy and we have since been conducting extensive investigations to piece together the events that led to Adam’s death in these unprecedented circumstances.”
She added that the process involved “highly specialized experts in their field.”
