A man’s horrific text messages about murdering his wife are revealed in an arrest warrant

This is incredibly shitty.
A Missouri man has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after he allegedly killed his estranged wife.
According to the victim’s mother, the alleged murder occurred around last Friday (September 22). Facebook (HERE), as well as details from the arrest warrant. According to court documents obtained from KSHB, John Wonder And Ashli Ehrhardi divorced but still lived together. They also worked together at the same company – and one day when neither of them showed up for work, their boss contacted the police, who called Ashli’s parents. They all met at the house and found something shocking.

The victim’s father was the one who found her body in the laundry room – and it was a gruesome scene! She allegedly had her ex’s last name “Wonder” written in blood on her leg and she was positioned next to a butcher knife and a cleaver. The Kansas City Star reported she had stab wounds on her body and a belt around her neck. JFC.
Meanwhile, according to court documents, John was on the run – pouring out his courage to friends and family who contacted him. In messages sent between 7:39 a.m. and 10:33 a.m., he seemingly confessed everything – in the most disturbing way! When his sister tried to reach him and wondered where he was, he allegedly replied:
“Hey kid. Sorry for the mess. For the record, it’s a lot easier and a lot more satisfying than you can imagine. Up soon.”
Shocking… He also told a friend on Facebook:
“Hey buddy. I’m sorry to put you on the receiving end, but I have to share this with someone. I’m about to throw my phone out the window and keep driving north to Fargo. I’m not trying to get away. I just feel like it “To go far, far away.”
Ah yes. There’s nothing suspicious about that!
Even more disturbing, the suspect claimed Ashli didn’t “cry” during the brutal murder, adding: “I still don’t feel anything.” But no more fear. That’s a plus.” WTF. He also told his pal that he had angrily left Erhardt’s gems by her body, noting, “They did you a lot of good, darling.”
He also reportedly told the friend he wanted to “get drunk and watch.” Shawshank Redemption “One last time” and admitted: “Today I will undoubtedly get caught.” Uh, this movie is about one innocent Man, you idiot. Pooh.
In another message to the friend, he allegedly thought:
“I keep thinking about the fact that she never screamed. Just took it like a champ. What a girl. To honor her. I won’t go out by being shot (suicide by a police officer), but by hopefully a similar fate to Ashli.”
As he suspected, he was arrested that same day in Valentine, Nebraska. His bail was set at $1 million cash. According to Ashli’s mother via KSHBThe couple began dating in 2016 or early 2017 and had two children during their relationship. They got married in October 2019, but things went wrong and they started couples therapy about a year ago. Ashli wanted to move out on October 1st. The children are now in the care of their maternal grandparents.
