AAWireless is back in stock for wireless Android Auto

Thanks to adapters, it’s easier than ever to get wireless Android Auto in your car, and the first company to tackle this goal was AAWireless. Now, AAWireless is taking a few steps behind the scenes, including withdrawing production of the device from China and overhauling the packaging.

AAWireless managed to become a full-fledged product on the market through an Indiegogo campaign, but that was it for a long time very difficult to buy the product. Buying on Indiegogo usually meant waiting for weeks or even months, and occasional issues with running out of stock have also made it harder to get hold of the product. It was similar with other Android Auto wireless adapters.

That’s been the case for a while since AAWireless has been out of stock due to Black Friday discounts. As of this week, AAWireless says inventory has been fully restored in time for the holidays. You can buy the product from the Company website worldwide or from Amazon in the US for $89.99.

Also, part of the reason for the stocks being restored is that the production of AAWireless has been moved from China to the company’s home region of Europe. The company’s co-founders said in a press release that this change “provides more control over the production process and it drastically improves shipping to customers.”

Finally, AAWireless is also transitioning to new eco-friendly packaging. Starting today, all new devices will be shipped in fully recyclable and plastic-free packaging, as pictured below, although some existing stock will still be used in the original packaging until these are exhausted.
