Accident kills pedestrian in Chambersburg

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A pedestrian was killed in an accident in Chambersburg on Jan. 16, according to a police report.

According to police, the accident happened near Loudon Street and Monticello Court. Both streets were closed while Chambersburg police investigated the accident.

The vehicle that hit the pedestrian stopped and stayed in the area, police said.

The Chambersburg police asks the population to avoid the accident area. The two streets are being prepared to reopen beginning at 10:50 p.m., according to the Chambersburg Police Department
