According to these seven Swiftie fan theories, Speak Now (Taylor’s version) is almost here

IIf you’re a die-hard Taylor Swift fan, you know the Red singer plans everything. Single. Matter.
There are no mistakes, coincidences, or accidents when it comes to Swift, and hidden clues and “Easter eggs” are something Swifties know all too well.
From solving anagrams to piecing together The Vault tracks to hiding symbols in music videos, Taylor truly is a mysterious woman.
As always, fans-turned-amateur-sleuths have been on their toes to find out what re-recorded album the singer will be releasing next, and some are sure they’ve found it this time.
We break down seven theories from fans who believe Speak Now (Taylor’s version) is on the way…

First some Taylor Swift context
Before we dive into the theories, let’s take a look at which albums have already been re-recorded.
If you haven’t been keeping up, Swift made the decision to re-record every album she has technically no longer possesses. In 2019, the singer announced that she would re-release her first six albums, adding “Taylor’s Version” to the track.
In April 2021, Taylor released Fearless (Taylor’s Version) along with a handful of previously unreleased songs from The Vault.
In November 2021, Swift dropped Red (Taylor’s Version) along with a 10-minute short dedicated to fan favorite All Too Well.
Now fans are waiting for “Speak Now” (TV), “1989” (TV), “Reputation” (TV) and their debut album “Taylor Swift” (TV).
Seven Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) fan theories
Speak Now (TV) was trending on Twitter earlier this week, and it’s all thanks to the sharp-eyed Swifties, who are confident they know what re-release is next…
You have to listen to them (and they said “Speak now”).
Purple merch shop
This first Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) theory is proving to be quite popular on Twitter.
A number of fans noticed how Swift had released a collection for I Had The Best Day. Of course, that doesn’t mean anything on the surface…until you see the color palette is purple.
Taylor is pictured on the cover of the original album Speak Now that iconic purple dress, and the color pretty much defined the Speak Now era.
Could Purple Merch Hint at Next Re-Recorded Album?
The Merch font sample
Another merchandising theory comes from the font used on their latest drop.
As Twitter user @burningredthr noted, the writing on the I Had The Best Day sweater looks eerily similar to the writing on the original Speak Now album.
Conicidence?
The timing of the merch drop
As I said, there are no mistakes with Taylor.
Twitter user @megansrep shared, “Not for alarm but the last time we got merch that made us think of 1989 TV, we got an announcement a few days later… & this merch makes us all think Speak Now TV is announcing soon will?”
Lilac flower in black and white photo
The I Had The Best Day merch includes a photo frame and the website features Taylor and her mom in a black and white photo holding a purple flower.
Purple is a pretty eye-catching color over black and white, so it’s definitely turned heads on Twitter.
Has Taylor been dropping Easter eggs the whole time?
Twitter user @jackLeopards thinks Speak Now (Taylor’s version) has been in the works for some time.
The fan pointed out that the music video for I Bet You Think About Me has a suspiciously similar plot to that of Speak Now, and the short film All Too Well has some odd connections to The Story Of Us.
The SNL promo shoot
In November 2021, Swift showed up on SNL to perform All Too Well, but the dress she wore for the promotion got people talking.
If you haven’t seen, Taylor wore a glittery dress that closely resembles the outfits she wore on tour during the Speak Now era. Similar looking?
Swifties Have a Feel for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)
Finally Taylor Swift fans sense that Speak Now (TV) is on the way.
Of course, Swift has yet to make an announcement, but we’re pretty confident we may have to “drop everything now” for the re-release of Speak Now.
