Adele struggled to control her emotions on Saturday night as she reflected on the power of friendship at another live confessional with her adoring fans in Las Vegas.
The British singer is currently on eight dates in a lucrative four-month residency at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, where thousands of fans have flocked to see her perform.
The shows – postponed by almost a year after she canceled her original residency in January – were notable for Adele’s open interaction with her audience between songs, and on Saturday she was brought to tears as she urged those in attendance to put friendship above all else appreciate.

Addressing the cavernous venue in footage later uploaded to Instagram, Adele, 34, admitted her own friends were invaluable in picking up the pieces following her divorce from Simon Konecki, with whom she has a ten-year-old son raises Angelo.
Struggling to contain herself, she said: “A relationship that’s falling apart, married or not, is really difficult and really traumatic.
“Keep your friends close, because they are better than any man, better than any woman. Your friends are for life.”

Adele said onstage at her Vegas show Weekends with Adele at The Colosseum in Ceasar’s Palace on Friday night: “I’ve started therapy again because I’ve been without it for a couple of years. I had to start.
“Before, when I was going through my divorce, I was basically having five therapy sessions a day.
“But I stopped blaming myself for my own behavior and the things I would say.
“But now I’m doing it because I just want to make sure I recharge every week to make sure I can give you everything.”

“I always get so emotional. I love making music, but there’s something about performing live that really scares me and scares me.
“That’s why I’m not a big itinerant artist. I did it last time to prove I could do it. But this experience of being in a space this size, I think I could be a live performer for the rest of my life.”
