Alan Shearer has claimed that Jack Harrison is ‘great’ for Leeds United in their 3-2 win over West Ham United on Sunday, as he told Premier League Productions (16/01/22 at 4:15pm).

The Leeds winger scored a hat-trick at the London Stadium, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side avenged the Hammers for knocking them out of the FA Cup last week.

While West Ham were a better team than last time, Leeds played much more dominant in the match yesterday and fully deserved with 3 full points.

And, as far as a Bielsa team goes, that’s 100 miles per hour, rich and action-packed goals in the capital.

In the early stages of the season, Harrison found life difficult, but the former Manchester City player is now finding his scoring ability again, and in a way!

It was a memorable performance by the England player and one he will cherish for a long time as it was his first hat-trick in the country’s top flight. Brother.

During his career, Shearer will score a lot of hat-tricks and he shares his thoughts on Harrison’s recent performance.

Shearer said: “Brave performance from Leeds. “A lot of energy, as we know it. They got the spark back.

“This guy, Harrison. What a day for him. Awesome Absoutley. Great. They deserve it. They created opportunities and took advantage of their opportunities.

“Every time West Ham come back in, it doesn’t stop Leeds. It doesn’t change their attitude. Great attitude to think, ‘no, we want to go and get all three’. And they deserved it.”

No Patrick Bamford? No problem for Bielsa. No Kalvin Phillips? No problem. No Liam Cooper? No problem.

Adam Forshaw and Junior Firpo injury in the first half? No problem for Leeds and Bielsa.

While other Premier League teams have had less time off, the injury list Leeds and Bielsa have faced is quite remarkable.

No one has made more teen debuts this season than Bielsa and he deserves big credit for not whining and just focusing on his job.

That is why many people appreciate the work he is doing in Yorkshire and why a club of the size of Leeds needs to stay in the Premier League, with him in the dugout.

In other news, Newcastle fans stunned by 22-year-old’s stellar display on Sunday, asking price £35m
