The best counters for fighting Poison-type Pokémon are Pokemon types that resist Poison-type attacks. Poison does less damage:
- Spirit – 1/2
- rock – 1/2
- floor – 1/2
- poison – 1/2
stole type Pokemon are immune to Poison-type moves, making them the perfect candidate to counter Poison-type Pokémon. Bronzong and King Ambit are fantastic counters, since both Pokémon cannot be hit by Poison-type attacks. Bronzong is very defensive and can use super effective Psychic moves, while Kingambit has a great Attack stat and can deal a lot of damage very quickly.
