Amazon MGM Studios hires Peter Oiltaguerre – The Hollywood Reporter

Amazon MGM Studios is strengthening its ranks.
Peter Oillataguerre takes on the newly created role of head of feature film production for Amazon MGM Studios. The executive, who comes from Spyglass, will report to Dan Scharf, head of global operations, and will work closely with head of film, streaming and cinema Courtenay Valenti and the company’s film teams.
“With more than 20 years of industry experience, Peter is a seasoned executive with significant expertise in the world of manufacturing. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the feature film production cycle for the Amazon MGM Studios film group,” wrote Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, in an email to employees on Friday.
At Spyglass, Oiltaguerre worked on films such as Scream, Hellraiser And The topand also worked on television series Project catwalk. Before Spyglass, he worked at Universal Studios and MGM Studios, where he worked on James Bond films, among others Skyfall And No time to dieas well as Believe.
