An unidentified object shot down over Alaska entered US airspace BEFORE it was detected

Officials confirmed the unidentified craft shot down over Alaska managed to enter US airspace before it was spotted when military helicopters retrieved it from frozen waters.

A source told Fox News it was spotted “over Alaska, not far from the North Shore.”

It comes after sources told CNN that the military developed a method to track spy balloons last year.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby announced Friday that it was shot down on orders from President Joe Biden. It was dismantled within an hour of ordering.

Officials couldn’t confirm if it was a balloon, but it was flying at an altitude potentially dangerous for civilian aircraft, the New York Times reported.
