Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix looks sensational as she competes in BBC Sports Personality of the Year

December always marks one of the most prestigious events in the world of sport – the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

And Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix looked sensational as she walked the red carpet at the much-anticipated ceremony at MediaCityUK in Salford on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old diver showed off her toned legs in a sleek red dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline and thigh-high slit.

Andrea, daughter of First Dates’ Fred Fred Sirieix, added height to her body with a pair of black strappy heels.

The athlete styled her brunette locks in a ponytail and wore a light makeup palette.

The event comes after Andrea was shortlisted for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year after an outstanding 2022.

Andrea, the 2020 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year winner, won seven diving medals at World and European Championships and the Commonwealth Games in 2022.

The jumper started with a team bronze at the World Championships before claiming two golds and one silver at this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, including a personal best in the 10m platform final.

She also won two more gold medals and team bronze at the Euros in Rome.

All roads lead to Paris 2024, where she will surely be in contention for a first Olympic medal after finishing seventh in her singles final on her debut in Tokyo last year.

Speaking at the Commonwealth Games in August, she said: “I’m really, really looking forward to Paris.

“The preparations are already underway and I’m excited to see what I can do. I came here with no expectations, I just wanted to have fun and improve.

“I decided to train even harder and it definitely worked. That gave me a lot of self-confidence.”
