Andrew Tate alleges a woman who accused him of rape lied after he refused to buy her a house

Andrew Tate told judges that a woman who had accused him of rape followed him to Romania and fabricated a rape allegation when he refused to give her €200,000 to buy a house.
The former British-American kickboxer, 36, has maintained his innocence since he was arrested alongside his brother Tristan, 33, on allegations of rape, human trafficking and forming an organized crime group on December 29, 2022.
Brother Tristan Tate was seen this morning pleading his innocence to journalists before the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) in Romania, where they were taken for questioning.
No charges have yet been brought against the brothers and Andrew said in his first public comment since his arrest yesterday: “You know we have done nothing wrong.
‘This file is completely empty. Of course it’s unfair. There is no justice in Romania.’

Former kickboxer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate have been held since December on charges of membership in an organized crime group, human trafficking and rape
Earlier this month, the Bucharest Court of Appeal heard Andrew Tate’s defense against allegations that he raped a woman who stayed with him in Romania between November 2021 and April 2022.
Romania’s Gandul news agency reports that the woman asked to move to Romania with him and almost six months later, when he refused to give her money to buy a house and become a TikTok star, she confessed to a rape allegation .
The woman was reportedly a drug addict when they met at the strip club where she worked in London.
Tate said he allowed the woman to move to Romania alone with him.
Because of her drug problem, the woman was told to stay with Tate’s assistant, Georgiana Naghel, who was also arrested as part of the investigation.
Police allege Naghel and ex-cop Luana Radu acted as the brothers’ proxies, helping to hold six women like prisoners and forcing them to film online porn videos.
However, Tate claims his accuser filed a complaint after he refused to give her money to “open a bar on the beach, star in a TV show and become famous on TikTok.”
He claims the woman asked for €200,000 to buy a house for her sister in Chisnau, Moldova.
The Tates brothers were also transferred to the DIICOT on Wednesday, where prosecutors were examining electronic devices confiscated during investigations into their case in Bucharest.
Andrew and his brother moved into a converted warehouse in Romania in 2017, which they staffed with armed guards.
In their safehouse on the outskirts of Bucharest, the Tate brothers had a video chat studio where several women were found during an April 2022 police raid.
Prosecutors allege the brothers lured women into the studio where they were sexually exploited through “acts of physical violence and psychological coercion (through intimidation, constant surveillance, control and appeal of alleged debt)” to produce and share pornographic material.
Andrew had boasted in a YouTube video prior to his arrest that the women who stayed with him were not allowed to leave; he said, “You’re not going anywhere.”
Tate is also accused of raping the Moldovan who allegedly followed him from London in March 2022, which he categorically denies.
Brother Tristan, also a former professional kickboxer, told journalists on Thursday: “What evidence is there against Tristan Tate? There is nothing. That should be the news of the day.’
Andrew Tate was not seen speaking in front of cameras today.
In a podcast before his arrest, when asked why he originally moved to Romania, Tate said “dodging rape allegations” was his motivation.
“I’m not a rapist, but I like the idea of being able to do whatever I want. I like being free.’
The alleged victims of sex trafficking claimed they would call them “slaves” and trick them into becoming webcam porn workers with promises of marriage.
The brothers’ security chief told the BBC that some of the women who spent time with the brothers at their compound in Romania “misunderstood and believed the reality [they would] His [Andrew Tate’s] next woman.
“Once you realize the reality, it’s easy to turn from friend to enemy and make a statement to the police.”

The brothers have denied the allegations against them.
