Andy Cohen has some thoughts on Bethenny Frankel’s new Real Housewives rewatch podcast.

While in conversation with Page Six In an interview published on Nov. 14, the Bravo host responded to the former Real Housewives of New York star’s new podcast with iHeartMedia, titled “ReWives.” The podcast features Frankel rewatching and discussing classic and iconic episodes of The Real Housewives with a guest by her side, such as Teresa Giudice’s table flip in The Real Housewives of New Jersey season one.

“I was a little surprised,” Cohen told the outlet during the Humane Society Gala, “but again I was like, ‘Oh, that’s good, good for you.’ The more ‘Housewives’ podcasts the better.”

According to Frankel, she says her podcast, Real Housewives, will be unlike any other out there right now.

“I’m not really interested in a table tipping over, but what is the dynamic involved? What does that mean?” Frankel said people in an interview published on November 4. “It’s not about whether Shereé or not [Whitfield] got a seven-figure divorce settlement. The point is, will she really get this? And how do you write that?”

Frankel was a cast member on The Real Housewives of New York for seasons 1-3 and then returned for seasons 7-11.

When some of Frankel’s former “Real Housewives of New York” co-stars got wind of the news about her new podcast, some of them weren’t too pleased. Frankel’s former friend-turned-enemy, Carole Radziwill, even went to Twitter to clear their minds.

“Oh god… how original,” Radziwill wrote on Nov. 4. “But she’s built her brand by trashing and taunting women, particularly the HWs & Bethenny always goes back to what she does best. I mean, right outside the gate she’s talking to the other HW podcasts. lol Good luck. Some things never change.”

Luann de Lesseps also had some words for her former co-star.

“It’s quite sad and pathetic that she has to resort to it housewives because of all her failed pivots since housewives‘ Lesseps said during a Nov. 4 episode of Danny Pellegrino Everything Iconic Podcast.. “She didn’t try at all housewives and it doesn’t seem to work and now it goes back housewives. So it’s a pretty desperate scenario.”

Bethenny Frankel has responded to the hate

In the wake of criticism she received for starting a Real Housewives podcast, Frankel took to her Instagram stories on Nov. 13 to respond to the haters page six.

“For those of you who don’t understand why I did it, because I understand I walked away, I didn’t want to be a part of it, it wasn’t what I thought I should do in my life, and I wasn’t proud of it,” Frankel said of an Instagram Story captured by Page Six.

The star continued, “This is my perspective, my story, my show, my experience versus a situation where we didn’t control the editing and we didn’t control the process and we didn’t control who we did.” surrounded with and the travels we made were not our responsibility.”
