Animal Shelter Simulator is raising money for real shelters ahead of its 2022 release

Among the new releases planned for early 2022, even eagle-eyed people might miss the Animal Shelter Simulator news. The game has a demo version on its Steam page, will put players in the shoes of an animal rancher, challenging them to balance business and responsibilities in caring for their fur. It’s currently aiming for a Q1 2022 release, but the Poland-based developer’s Game Incubator has plans to do more.

In a press release shared about the time of release, the company also revealed that it will be donating $2,000 each to five community-selected and nominated animal shelters. From December 25 to January 9, fans can vote to narrow the selection down to ten charities. After that, subsequent votes will gradually reduce the numbers down to the final five numbers. When the final game is released in early 2022, the company will send donations to selected shelters.

It’s a good move to raise awareness and funds for an important and obvious cause close to the developers’ hearts. Games Incubator CEO Marek Parzyński said: “Approved [Animal Shelter Simulator]We want to raise awareness among players about the issue of homeless animals and the lack of care they receive. “Definitely it’s nice to see a company put its money where their mouth is.
