Austin Dillon

Our #23 Chevrolet didn’t make it to the Victory Line with its diversity of racers alternating races. In fact, there are seven DNFs and 10 finishes outside the top 30. However, there are some strong performances that provide a glimpse of future potential.

Ty Dillon finished in the top 10 twice – Charlotte Motor Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway – in four starts at 23 while his brother Austin scored one more at the Circuit Indianapolis motorcycle. Reddick finished top 10 at Darlington Raceway while Andy Lally finished top 5 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Strong past performances by Reddick, brothers Dillon and Lally do not guarantee Alfredo will immediately contend for a 23rd place win. Although past matches have shown the 23rd team have the ability to race into the top 10, especially with a driver constantly starting. In addition, Alfredo will gain more confidence after competing against top drivers in the weekly NASCAR Cup Series.
