Apex Legends Mobile Update – Loba & First Patch Details
Apex Legends Mobile received a major update today that adds a new character to the game alongside some much-needed bug fixes and tweaks.
The big news is that Loba has been confirmed to come on Android and iOS platforms and offers unique abilities.
However, it should be noted that while the Loba now appears as a portrait on the selection screen, the character is not yet playable.
It’s unclear when this might happen, but we do know a few other things about today’s Apex Mobile.

Apex Legends Mobile Update – June Patch News
While no official patch notes have been shared, moderators have provided official update news through the game’s official Reddit pages, which are supported by developers.
Here’s the official news of today’s Apex Legends Mobile update, apart from details related to when Loba might be playable:
Respawn highlights:
- Removed leaver penalty in unranked matches
- More servers in NA, UK and FR, all with a small update to improve ping
- The first of many server optimizations
And a message on the official Apex Mobile Reddit Pages adds this information: “Hey, some changes have been introduced in the game and new servers are coming very soon!
“Following a lot of community feedback, the quit penalty you receive after exiting a game has been removed. A abandon penalty will still apply to ranked matches. New server locations for France, NA East, and the UK will also be added later this week. These servers come with a small update to improve ping routing for players!
“This is the first of many upcoming optimizations to in-game servers to create a better and more enjoyable gaming experience for all Legends. Also, remember that you can submit feedback through the Apex Legends Mobile app.”
More news on future changes is expected to be released by Respawn in the coming weeks, but it seems there will be no detailed patch notes on today’s update.
From what has been found in the game so far, Loba is expected to become playable during Apex Legends Mobile Season 2.
