This is when a new Apex update will be released and players can expect to download a new version of the game. Much of what will be included in the new patch has already been shared by the development team, including planned returning content.

The next Apex Legends event is expected to start on March 29th at 18:00 GMT or 10:00 PDT if you live in North America. Respawn has confirmed that Control will be returning for two weeks as part of the event, offering Caustic Treatment on Kings Canyon as the map of choice. The 9v9 Control mode is not expected to remain after the event ends, as other areas such as Olympus and Storm Point are included in the rotation. Apex fans will find extra cover, zip lines, parachutists, and even a hover tank as they explore the Caustic Control map.

Respawn has also confirmed that the new Drop Off Arena map will be playable following this week’s update, telling fans ahead of time: “High above the Malta skyline is the fully automated Hammond Manufacturing Tower, designed for a single Purpose built: early production of critical systems for Olympus. The place, codenamed Drop-Off, is still operational, but at night Arenas fighters secretly take over the place for fierce battles under the smoggy skies.”
