Apple TV’s Mythic Quest is getting a spinoff series full of one-shots

Mythic Quest is by far one of the best shows on Apple TV+ right now, although season 3 may have got off to a slightly disappointing start so far. Still, that hasn’t stopped Apple from ordering a companion series that will further expand the world of Mythic Quest.
Titled Mere Mortals, the series is directed by Ashly Burch, John Howell Harris, and Katie McElhenney, all of whom are also writers on the main series. According to a Variety report, Mere Mortals will have eight episodes, all of which will follow the format of previous one-shot episodes such as A Dark Quiet Death, Backstory! and Everlight follow.
These episodes centered around a short story contained within that episode itself, with the first two being hailed as some of the series’ best episodes. There’s no word on when Mere Mortals will air, but we’ll keep you updated as more information reaches us.
