Created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, this Australian animated series for preschoolers first premiered on ABC Kids in 2018 and proved to be a magical experience for younger viewers.

It follows the title Bluey, an anthropomorphic six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her family and regularly has adventures. Covering important themes from family to friendship, it has been well received for its messages and many parents have found it to be the perfect watch for their children or family.

Thankfully, it’s found a home in streaming and the latest season is available. So let’s address the Disney Plus situation of Bluey Season 3.

Are more episodes of Bluey Season 3 coming to Disney Plus?

Yes, more episodes of Bluey Season 3 are yet to reach Disney Plus.

The Independent reports that Season 3 will be released on the platform in two parts, with the first becoming available on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. So currently there are 25 new episodes ready to stream whenever you want.

However, a release date for the second half of the season has yet to be confirmed. We expect the other 25 episodes to be added to Disney Plus in the UK later in 2022.

A further 11 episodes – up from the first 26 – were released in Australia in June and there are 15 more to premiere there.

Still, you can be sure that more Bluey is coming!

“I want to make a show that people can watch as a family”

Speak with The Independentthe show’s creator, Joe Brumm, talked about what inspired him:

“I really like Peppa Pig, and it was the top of the bunch of these shows. I really liked that it just told very simple, relatable stories about kids who really felt like they were from Britain – so I wanted to do something that really felt like they were from Oz.”

He added, “I want to do a show that people can watch as a family … something like The Simpsons where you can watch it as an adult or maybe as an eight or nine year old. I wanted something that you can watch as an adult and also as a four-year-old, which is quite a step – and it changes the nature of the show.”

Essentially, he thought that “there has to be a nice little thing … that you really share when a four-year-old sits down with his parents and they’re both actively enjoying watching the show.”
