Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy share a birthday and serious beef rumors

Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, once best friends who shared the same screen and birthday, seem to have undergone a serious transformation after their show Sam & Cat.

Ariana and Jennette were brought together in a spin-off show after the two became fan favorites on Victorious and iCarly. Although the show became a hit on Nickelodeon, it was canceled after one season. Rumor has it that both actresses were in a big fight.

Ariana’s fame skyrocketed after her role as Cat Valentine. She was offered the chance to pursue a singing career. When the show began filming and its episodes were released, disagreements arose between both actresses.

As the most popular performers of their shows, victorious and iCarly, Nickelodeon has mixed up their characters for a spin-off. As roommates, the adventures of Cat Valentine and Sam Puckett have many viewers envying their friendship.

Cat Valentine was a talented girl who sometimes behaved a little childishly and incomprehensibly. Coupled with Sam Puckett, a web star who retired after her best friend Carly went to Italy with her father.

The two characters met while Sam was traveling around the country on her motorcycle. She then saved Cat from being shod in a garbage truck.

Sam settled in Los Angeles and moved in with Cat, where many of their adventures as roommates took place.

Besties on screen, enemies off screen – apparently. After all, they are actors. Compared to her close friendship with her winning co-stars Liz Gillies, Daniella Monet and Matt Bennett, Ariana reportedly didn’t have the same type of relationship with her on-screen bestie, Jennette McCurdy.

Both actresses went through some public ups and downs while filming Sam & Cat.

After her great run in Victorious, Ariana’s fame was unstoppable. Beginning her music career and recording her first full-length album, the actress-turned-singer had a number of priorities to maintain her good public image. This was important after she continued filming as Cat Valentine.

Both actresses were in their early 20s, but Ariana’s team had a different vision for the singer. As reported by Nicky Swiftit’s claimed the singer’s reps wanted to “remove the co-star from their show together in favor of someone cleaner.”

Salary feud rumours

The beef didn’t end there, however. After the series officially aired on Nickelodeon, Jennette became noticeably absent from awards shows. Both actresses reportedly had disagreements over their respective salaries. Corresponding E! On-lineJennette accused the network of paying more money to Ariana because of her higher profile, which the singer then denied.

But Ariana spoke afterwards and said the rumors were false. The tweet has since been deleted.

she tweeted back then. “I hate addressing rumors and I hate gossip, but it really bothers me. Jennette and I agreed ahead of time that we would be treated equally on this show in all respects (as we should be, considering we both work just as hard as everyone else on this show).

“The rumors circulating about our contracts and unequal pay are absolutely ridiculous and false. I don’t know who is spreading these idiotic quotes, but I thought I’d fix it and try to end this nonsense.”

Although the series became a hit, it was announced that Sam & Cat would not be renewed for a new season.

It’s been almost a decade but the world still doesn’t know the current relationship between the two actresses.

After the cancellation of Sam & Cat, both actresses each went their own way. Ariana toured the world and sold millions of copies, and Jennette decided to pursue a more private life after a few projects.

In 2015, Jennette opened up about what happened to the singer and opened up E! news where their relationship was. She admitted they occasionally “bumped” each other, but in a more sisterly way.

I just feel like you know that Ariana and I were very close and very similarly minded in many different ways,” she said. “AWhen the show broke up, everyone wanted to find some hidden meaning in our relationship.”

She told the media outlet that the two considered each other sisters. Jennette added: “She knows me so well and I know her so well that I find it unfortunate that things have been misunderstood.
