Army Black Knights (8-3) vs Navy Midshipmen (3-8) at MetLife Stadium on December 11 with the winner taking home the Commander-in-Chief trophy.

Army vs Navy preview
The Army was about to win a 31-16 victory over Liberty on November 27. The Black Knights did what they usually do: They ran the ball, and they ran it well, lifting 220 yards above the ground in victory. On the other side, Navy also last played on November 27, beating Temple, 38-14. After winning just one of the first seven games of this season, Navy has won two of its last four and the team feels happy going into this one.
“We have been improving,” Midshipmen head coach Ken Niumatalolo said. “But like if you were a boxer, and you were fighting Floyd Mayweather, you would say, ‘I think I was better.’ But then you have six black eyes. But who else hit him? I think we played well against Notre Dame and Cincinnati, who lost a game between them.”

The Midshipmen still hold a 61-53-7 head-to-head record in the full-time series against Army, but the Black Knights won last year, 15-0.
