Around 100,000 corona cases were detected worldwide within 24 hours

The daily death toll has risen worldwide due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The number of newly identified patients has also increased compared to the previous day.
In the last 24 hours, the number of new corona cases has reached around one lakh. About four hundred people have died from the virus.
Meanwhile, Japan has had the highest number of infections in the world in the past 24 hours. On the other hand, the United States has topped the daily death toll list. Japan, Taiwan, Russia and France are next on the list of victims. The number of people affected by the corona virus has thus exceeded the 678.9 million mark worldwide. On the other hand, the number of dead has exceeded 67 lakh 92 thousand.
According to the latest data from Worldometers, a website that tracks coronavirus cases, deaths and health, 372 people have died from the virus worldwide in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday morning (February 22). The number of deaths has increased by 66 compared to the previous day. The death toll has reached 67,92,548 worldwide.
In the same period, 94,392 people were newly infected with the virus. That means the number of newly diagnosed patients has increased by more than 40,000 compared to the previous day. Since the beginning of the epidemic, the total number of patients infected with the virus has increased to 6789 million 12 thousand 429 people.
In Japan, meanwhile, the world’s highest number of corona infections has occurred in the last 24 hours. During this period, 19,202 people have contracted the new coronavirus in the country and 72 people have died.
On the other hand, the United States has topped the daily death toll list. In the last 24 hours, 6,451 people have contracted the new coronavirus in the country and 85 people have died.
In December 2019, the first coronavirus case was detected in Wuhan, China. Then, on March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared Corona a “global pandemic”. Earlier, on January 20 of the same year, the organization announced a global emergency.
