Arsenal join Newcastle & Liverpool in £51m talent race, replacement identified

Based on Sport1Arsenal are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen striker Moussa Diaby, who is also wanted by Newcastle and Liverpool.

What is the story?

Well, this would be a pretty fitting signing for Arsenal, although Newcastle and Liverpool will probably make Edu’s pursuit difficult.

Sport1 chief reporting officer Patrick Berger broke the news, where he added that Diaby has no release clause in his contract.

Elsewhere, it was Calciomercato who revealed that Liverpool are monitoring the French player.

Berger added that Bayer Leverkusen want €60m (£51m) for their dynamic winger, who is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most exciting talents.

Interestingly, Berger also claims that the Bundesliga outfit have identified Diaby’s replacement in Roma’s Carles Pérez.

He also said that Manchester United are keen to sign the Paris-born player.

Every club wants to discover the next crown jewel of European football, and at Diaby, there is a world-class player just waiting to explode.

The French player has 16 target and ripe support in 33 appeared this season, it was an exceptional return for a winger.

It came after Diaby scored ten goal and offer 15 assists in all the leagues last season, so he’s clearly making good progress.

At just 22 years old, he will seamlessly line up among Mikel Arteta’s under-23 gems like Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli.
