Arsenal now looking to sell 27-year-old for £15m – journalist

Goal journalist Charles Watts has said on his page youtube Sender that Arsenal want £15m for right-back Hector Bellerin
Bellerin joined Real Betis on loan from Arsenal in the summer of 2021.
The 27-year-old Spain international is set to return to Arsenal from his loan deal at the end of the season.
Well-known and respected journalist Watts has said the Gunners are looking to sell Bellerin in the summer of 2022 and are asking for £15million in exchange.

Arsenal stance on Hector Bellerin
said Watts on his youtube Channel as transcribed from The boot room: “I have spoken to people close to Bellerin and I understand the situation that Bellerin will not return to Arsenal.
“I know Mikel Arteta was asked about this at the press conference last week and said he was a player signed at Arsenal so we’re preparing for him to come back. If all the moves collapse, he’ll have to come back, but I understand everyone is working toward Bellerin leaving for good this summer.
“The first option is Real Betis. They are happy with him and want to keep him. They believe they can make the move permanent. They got European football next season so they have some money and they don’t think it will cost an astronomical amount of money to trick Arsenal into selling it.
“I saw £15m for Hector Bellerin, I would be stunned if they got that. I would think it would potentially be between €5m and €10m (£4.2m – £8.4m).
“He’s going to have to take a pay cut but that won’t be a problem, he’s had to take a pay cut to see the loan deal through and he’s likely to do so again to pull down the curtain on his Arsenal career. I think that will be a step that will take place in the summer.”
No future at Gunners
Bellerin has no future at Arsenal in our opinion and it would be best if the two parties parted ways at the end of the season.
Forever.
The right-back is enjoying himself at Betis and recently won the Copa del Rey.
Bellerin plays regularly for Betis and we think it would be best for the Spain international if he stays at the La Liga club.
Arsenal signed Takehiro Tomiyasu in the summer of 2021 and the Japan international is now the clear first-choice right-back for the Gunners.
Bellerin made 21 begins and a substitute game in La Liga for Betis this season, providing two assists.
The right-back also provided two assists in four Europa League games and made three appearances in the Copa del Rey.
