Astlibra revision gameplay

The gameplay for the new Switch version is here Astlibra revision. The side-scrolling 2D action RPG made its console debut this week.

Explore a vast, dangerous yet beautiful world. Spread over several chapters, you accompany the protagonist and Karon, his talking bird companion, as they come to terms with time and fate.

Slash, smash, poke countless enemies while building up stamina for powerful possession abilities, enough to melt away anything in your way, including huge bosses that could take up half or even more of the screen. Fight aggressively while thinking strategically, always choosing the most trustworthy equipment and selecting the most appropriate skills to deal with the ever-changing circumstances.

Fight against fierce bosses throughout the story, each with their own attacks and challenges. Improving skills and acquiring new skills are crucial to completing each battle and progressing through the protagonist’s story.

A warrior who masters long-range combat with bows and throwing knives? A mage who smashes enemies with staffs and casts magic at the same time? Play it your way. Gain experience to level up, gain strength to grow up, forge and master equipment to open up more tactical options.

Award-winning indie developer KEIZO invested 14 years in development and more than a year in revision and gave his best to this work. The plot twists and turns as the characters grow in an ever-expanding world. Classic themes like time travel and spoilers galore are all tailor-made in the developer’s own style. In ASTLIBRA, story elements are often turned into game mechanics, for example, your soulmate Karon isn’t just a buddy to talk to.

With 6 difficulty levels, all types of players can enjoy the combat system at their own pace, but no one can finish all this content casually – even after you “master” the game, the postscript after the final chapter offers additional story and new adventures and fresh system , which exploits the potential of skills, equipment and your imagination.
