NEVER TOO YOUNG TO COMPETE. READY, SET, GO! DON’T LET YOUR YOUNG AGE FOOL YOU. THESE ARE SERIOUS COMPETITORS which my husband was really excited about. So we signed up and got him a costume. AND HERE WE ARE. 29 BABIES, AGES FROM SIX MONTHS TO ONE YEAR, AT THE FIRST BABY RACE AT THE E-TOWN FAIR, TRYING TO CRAWLING THEIR WAY TO THE FINISH LINE, ALSO SOME WERE A LITTLE DISTRACTED. You never really know what to expect in races like this because the babies have minds of their own. It was their coaches, mostly moms and dads, armed with gadgets and toys that lured them to the finish line. SOME GOODS READY TO WIN. We made sure to take a 3 hour nap. We had a big bottle. So she was well taken care of. And then we just had to make eye contact, like looking at the price. And did we know where to go? HERMAN HERSHMAN AT THE END THERE IS A CLEAR WINNER. Ten month old ALTHEA RUDOLPH, who takes home a $200 prize, was impressed by our winner today. She really got into it. SOME TAKE THE LOSS HARD, IS DETERMINED, BUT IN THE END THEY WERE ALL WINNERS, AT LEAST IF THEY COME TO BE

Dubbed the cutest race ever, it took place Tuesday at a county fair in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Babies aged six months to one year who can crawl but not yet walk competed in the race at the Elizabethtown Fair. The race babies’ parents waited at the finish line to encourage their little ones to win. The winning baby, 10-month-old Althea Ruoff, took home the $200 prize.
