“Bachelor in Paradise” fans preview “Bachelorette” and want answers

The Cast of Bachelor in Paradise Season 8

Then the cast of the first season of “Bachelor in Paradise” gathers.

Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise” debuts on Tuesday, September 27th, and fans are ready to watch the chaos to come. As “The Bachelorette” wrapped up, a fun extended sneak peek for “BIP” aired, and viewers saw a performance that immediately sparked drama. Rachel Recchia shows up in paradise sometime during the upcoming season and people wonder what she was doing there.

Here’s what you need to know:

Recchia seems to have a crush on a certain guy

During the big extended preview released and shared by ABC recently Instagram, Recchia was seen talking to a couple of ladies. Her brief moment in the clip comes right after one of her former “Bachelorette” fans, Logan Palmer, confessed his love to someone while standing on the beach in the pouring rain. As Palmer picked up the lady and kissed her, Recchia was heard saying, “He’s so awesome.” The clip shifts to show Recchia adding, “He really is,” and she adds, “I’ll be right there.” cry because I’m so happy.”

While editing the “BIP” preview suggested that Recchia might be praising Palmer, it apparently wasn’t. According to Spoiler King reality Steve, Recchia and fellow “Bachelorette” co-star Gabby Windey showed up in Mexico to issue a warning about Palmer. “Gabby and Rachel were BOTH in paradise towards the end of filming and they told Kate [Gallivan] about Logan and that he was indecisive and what not. Given that, it seems certain that Recchia is praising someone else in the moment highlighted in the preview.

Could Recchia have gushed over her last rose recipient, Tino Franco? “The Bachelorette” fans know it Franco and Recchia have split up, but they were still engaged at the time. However, it seems more likely that Recchia is gushing about one of the other guys from her season. Some of Windey and Recchia’s former suitors are part of the Season 8 cast, including Tyler NorrisJacob Rapini and Johnny DePhillip, according to reality Steve. While Rapini and DePhillipo probably wouldn’t be guys she would gush about, Norris certainly could.

Fans had questions about Recchia’s looks

As soon as The Bachelorette fans spotted Recchia in the BIP preview, they started buzzing. As noted one Redditor, both Becca Kufrin and Hannah Brown made quick appearances to speak to some contestants in previous seasons and it appears that this appearance from Recchia and Windey will be similar. “BIP” spoilers suggest it will be a while before viewers see exactly who Recchia was talking about here, as it happened towards the end of filming.

“Based on Tyler N being in the trailer, I assume she would tell the girls about it.” recommended another reddit poster.

“RACHEL????” someone easy questioned on the preview Instagram post. “THANK YOU! LIKE NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THIS”, answered someone else.

“Will Rachel find love in paradise?” wondered another viewer.

“Wait, Rachel will be there? wha What happened to her and Aven?” asked another fan.

The casual “BIP” viewer might not realize that Season 8 was filmed in the middle of the summer, long before that Aven Jones appeared during the finale of “The Bachelorette” to ask Recchia to hang out after her tense encounter with former fiancé Franco. Spoilers suggest Season 8 is set to be a wild ride this fall, and Recchia’s appearance is likely to be just one of many developments set to cause a lot of buzz in the coming weeks.
