WLKY meteorologist Susanne Horgan reviews our rain chances for this week.
Meteorologist Suzanne Horgan: We’re looking at perhaps a few scattered showers today. Continue the risk of a few isolated showers on Tuesday, particularly in our northern communities, but most areas will remain dry. I think there’s a better chance of some rain as we get closer to your Wednesday. I think a lot of us will be looking forward to it. *** There will be a few showers in the south as we spend the first part of the day. And then we’ll see a gradual clearing over the course of your Monday, with the high temperature dropping to around 86 degrees overnight and then to around 64 degrees. Then look forward to high temperatures around 87 degrees and mostly sunny skies tomorrow, with an isolated shower for some of our northern communities. On Wednesday and Thursday we’ll be on the lookout for isolated showers and storms with temperatures around 80 degrees. We’ll warm up into the lower 80s on Friday and at this point it’s looking dry as we head into the weekend
