Barcelona say they are confident of signing Leeds United winger Raphinha ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool Sports.
Sports have reported that Barcelona have already turned down an initial €35m (£29.14m) offer for Leeds winger Raphinha.
The Brazil international has a €70m (£62.45m) release clause in his contract.
Sports have reported that Barcelona are confident of signing Raphinha due to the good relationship with his agent Deco, who is a former Camp Nou star.
Barcelona plan to resume talks with Leeds over Raphinha in the coming days.
Will Liverpool miss Raphinha after Barcelona?
Given how much Barcelona are into the 25-year-old winger, we think it seems likely at the moment that Liverpool will miss out on the Leeds star in the summer transfer window.
Playing for Xavi at Barcelona could be tempting for the 25-year-old, who has been outstanding for Leeds.
As it should be for any other footballer.
Now we also have to take into account that Liverpool signed Luis Diaz in the January transfer window £37 million and may not be ready to spend big again in the summer of 2022.
However, we should also note that Barcelona aren’t exactly in any real financial shape and might not be able to cough out Raphinha’s release clause unless Leeds sell him for less than his release clause.
In other news, the club, who are debating the Everton heist for £21million star Harry Redknapp, claim ‘can’t run’.
