“Basic repair work” takes place in the Hardshaw Center parking lot

Limited parking space is anticipated in the Hardshaw Center car park due to repair work taking place on the site beginning tomorrow, Wednesday 8th February.

The work is expected to take two to three days.

The major repair work involves the north end of the parking lot off Bickerstaffe Street and the Needle and pedestrian access, which may be prohibited at certain times during the repairs.

Limited access will be required for these areas to complete the repair work, with approximately 25 to 30 parking spaces expected to be unused.

Pedestrian access via the needle will be restricted between 8am and 5pm, with pedestrians being advised to use alternative access points to the center during these times.

Work on the Hardshaw Center car park is due to be completed later in the week, weather permitting.

Temporary closures will be put in place tonight ahead of tomorrow’s work which is due to start at 8am.
