Justin Timberlake kept fans in the splits with his Beat Ya Feet dance at DC’s Something In The Water festival. Many compared the singer’s choreography to Ginuwine’s latest.
Justin is one of the most prominent figures in the music industry. Fans have been wowed by the stars’ songs, dance moves, and movies for decades.
However, during his last performance at the Something In The Water festival, fans mocked his dance moves.
Justin Timberlake’s Beat Ya Feet dance isn’t what fans expected
Justin became the laughing stock of the internet after the singer’s Beat Ya Feet dance.
Festival-goers shot videos of the dancing singer and posted them online, prompting many others to poke fun at Justin’s failed attempt at DC’s cultural dance.
JT was unusually casually dressed for his performance, as he wore a short-sleeved, button-down check shirt over khaki pants. He also donned chunky shoes with bright red and yellow colors.
The 41-year-old dances for brief periods whenever he’s on stage, and doesn’t display the elaborate moves that Beat Ya Feet dancers typically do.
However, Justin’s vocals were spot on as he appeared alongside Pharell Williams and cheered on the crowd.
While he seems pretty confident in what he’s doing, fans have ripped his seemingly impromptu performance to pieces.
Many compared him to singer Ginuwine, who also had a failed attempt at dancing at one of his recent concert appearances.
Ginuwine’s failed choreography has fans in splits
A video of Ginuwine trying to perform a dance move appeared online in late May.
The singer performed in front of a huge crowd as he tried to pull off a dance move on stage. However, it ends abruptly, looking like an awkward mesh between an incomplete dance move and a stunt gone wrong.
The video was posted to Instagram by comedian Lil Duval, who captioned it “Chris Brown in 20 years.”
Both the clip and the caption left fans in splits.
In May, another video of Poisonous Pony Singer went viral. He is seen performing one of his other awkward dance moves in front of a huge crowd. At one point, Ginuwine can be seen awkwardly pointing to his crotch.

Although Justin’s Beat Ya Feet was just a tiny part of the day’s programming, fans didn’t spare the singer.
Many compared him to Ginuwine, while others thought he would give Glee’s Mr. Schue vibes.
Others compared him to how their fathers danced.
