Things haven’t always gone smoothly for the inside team this season.Below deck Mediterranean” and in recent episodes tensions have been growing between second stew Natalya Scudder on the one hand and second stew Kyle Viljoen and chief stew Natasha Webb on the other.

Scudder and Viljoen bumped heads a couple of times, as Scudder expressed that she felt like she was doing most of the work and the other two left the pantry in disarray. Viljoen, on the other hand, said they had to focus on the visitors first and said he was exhausted at this point and felt torn between the two women’s feelings.

During her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Scudder was asked where she was with Viljoen now, and she shared that they weren’t in a good place at the moment.

Scudder was being asked about her friendship with Viljoen when someone mentioned that the two don’t follow each other on social media

On the WWHL aftershow, someone asked Scudder where she was with Viljoen now, pointing out that “you two don’t follow or tag each other in posts on Instagram.”

The Below Deck Med star responded that their relationship “has its ups and downs.” She revealed that Viljoen is currently blocked but they are like “brother and sister”. She added:

Some went under, but yeah, we’ll see what happens. I get over things very quickly, so does he, so I’m sure once we’ve seen each other in a bar we’ll be like brother and sister again, but for now it’s a no for me.

Viljoen also opened up about Scudder during his own WWHL the week before, telling the audience it wasn’t the first time his co-star had “cheated.” He told Cohen it had happened before the moment the episode was made, saying Scudder “loves all the gossip. She loves the whole gag. She is a snitch.”

Fans have challenged Viljoen & Webb in recent weeks over their apparent work ethic and have expressed support for Scudder’s tricky position

After Scudder discussed the interior issues with Captain Sandy Yawn and the Captain spoke to Webb, fans shared their take on the situation. Many expressed support for Scudder and said they wouldn’t blame her for speaking up as the boat looked very messy and disorganized.

Others pointed out that Captain Sandy had noticed the mess herself and asked Scudder for her opinion, so it wasn’t like the stew was going out of her way to report her crewmates. Fans also criticized Webb’s response to Yawn’s feedback, as the episode showed her complaining to Viljoen about what happened. Some accused Webb of deflecting criticism, saying returning it against Scudder was unfair and “toxic.”

New episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean air Mondays at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific Time on Bravo.
