It’s good that Viljoen starred in a Bravo show because it turns out his husband-to-be is a huge fan of the network!

“Oh my god Zachary. I think I literally have wires for everything Bravo when it comes to him,” revealed Viljoen during an interview with in July 2022 Bravo Insider. “He’s seen every single season of everyone Under deck conceivable, all housewives imaginable, from the first episode to the last.”

Viljoen continued: “He’s the biggest fan. He has the utmost respect for that [Captain Sandy Yawn]. Apparently, [she’s] very connected to our community. And in any case, he said that this is a very spicy time of year. And he’s excited to see where it’s going. I don’t share anything with him. I wanna see his reaction like he’s watching you know [from the] audience perspective. And he’s really shattered by the shit that’s coming out of my mouth.”

Kyle Viljoen said he would be willing to take on a Chief Stew role in the future

This may not be the last we see of Viljoen — during an August 2022 interview, the Below Deck Med star admitted he’d be willing to take on the role of Chief Stew one day.

“In a heartbeat!” Viljoen tells entertainment tonight. “Do I think I can take the position of chief stew? Without doubt. It’s done and dusted. I really figured it all out. So you can only hope that I develop and I want to show that to the LGBTQA+ community that introducing this character can come on board, that you can work from the bottom and thrive all the way to the top. You are not judged by who you are as a person.”
