Bethenny Frankel mentions everything.

During an interview with Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap Frankel hit back at the criticism she received from ex-co-stars Luann de Lesseps and Carole Radziwill after announcing she was starting a “Real Housewives” rewatch podcast.

Frankel announced earlier this month that the new podcast produced by iHeartMedia will be called “ReWives,” and that she will invite a different guest each week to discuss and rewatch “iconic” episodes from the franchise.

However, some of her former colleagues weren’t too happy about the announcement. During a performance on November 4 at Danny Pellegrino’s “Everything iconic” Podcast, de Lesseps called the new venture “sad” and “pathetic,” while Radizwill did as well blasted the star on Twitter.

“Whatever her truth is, as has always been the case in her career and life, is her truth,” Frankel said. “And I’m sorry they’re having a rough time with it. It makes sense. It’s been very successful. It’s an incredible idea. It has buzz. It’s interesting and you know I can’t apologize for having great ideas and being successful.”

Frankel was a cast member of “The Real Housewives of New York” on Bravo in seasons 1-3 and then returned again in seasons 7-11.

Bethenny Frankel said the new podcast won’t be about all the on-screen drama

When talking to people In an interview published Nov. 4, the former Real Housewives of New York star claimed that the new podcast won’t be about the drama that was unfolding on screen.

“We’re not delving into that territory,” Frankel told People. “I wanted to do a Rewatch podcast, but I didn’t want to do anything derivative. I didn’t want to just rewatch a show scene by scene. So I thought, ‘How could I do this in an interesting way?’ – not just having another housewife talk to me about how others do, but instead delving deeper. So it’s really about them real Dynamics happening underneath, which I find more interesting anyway, rather than the low-hanging fruit junk that others take out of it.”

Frankel continued, “I don’t really care about a table tipping over, but what is the dynamic involved? What does that mean? It’s not about whether Shereé or not [Whitfield] got a seven-figure divorce settlement. The point is, will she really get this? And how do you write that?”

Bethenny Frankel shared her “Mount Rushmore” from “Housewives” during an interview in May 2022

Though it’s been a few years since Frankel appeared on “The Real Housewives of New York,” as of May 2022, she’s still committed to her “Mount Rushmore” from Real Housewives Interview with TODAY.

“If I had to do one ‘Housewives,’ and it was Mount Rushmore from ‘Housewives,’ it would be me, NeNe (Leakes), Teresa (Giudice) and Lisa Vanderpump,” Frankel said at the time. “That would be my Mount Rushmore. This is original. These are classics.”

However, it doesn’t seem like Frankel is too convinced about returning to the franchise any time soon.

“I have other things ahead of me, good things are coming,” the star told TODAY during the interview.
