Bindi Irwin was over the moon when The Wiggles arrived at Australia Zoo.

The 24-year-old mother-of-one took to Facebook on Tuesday to celebrate the beloved Australian children’s group performing at the wildlife conservation facility.

“Tomorrow is Steve Irwin Day and The OG Wiggles will be performing at Australia Zoo,” the group wrote.

In response, Bindi added: “This is wonderful. We can’t wait to see you at Australia Zoo today!’

It comes as Bindi paid a moving tribute to her late father.

November 15th was Australia’s Steve Irwin Day, an annual event honoring the life and legacy of the conservationist known around the world as the ‘Crocodile Hunter’.

The crikey! It’s the Irwins star, 24, who took to Instagram to share rarely seen footage of Steve talking about what protecting wildlife means to him.

“Conservation is my whole life, my whole personality. Which I want to be remembered for,” Steve says in the old interview.

Bindi captioned the footage: “May 15th. November, Steve Irwin Day. Wear your best khaki and celebrate the greatest wild animal warrior the world has ever seen.”

Many of Bindi’s 4.9 million followers took to the comments section to share what Steve’s legacy means to them.

“Legends live forever through the lives they inspired and the positive changes they made,” wrote actress Emma Perry.

Another said Steve would be proud “if he knew the impact he had on the world”.

Steve died on September 4, 2006 at the age of 44 after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray while filming a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef.

Bindi was just eight years old at the time.

After his death, Steve’s family, including his daughter Bindi, widow Terri, son Robert and son-in-law Chandler Powell, have continued his conservation work at Australia Zoo.

It comes after Bindi paid a romantic tribute to her husband Chandler as she celebrated his 26th birthday on Monday.

‘Our family. My world. November 14th is one of my favorite days of the year to celebrate my incredible husband’s birthday,” she commented on a gallery of family photos on Instagram.

“Chandler, you are the strongest, kindest, most selfless man I have ever known. I wish I could find a way to express how much you mean to me,” she added.

“I love you in every way, all my life. For me and Grace, not only does our sun rise and set with you, you ARE our sunshine. Happy birthday to the very best.’
