Bishop Whitehead speaks out after men rob him and his wife at church

A New York bishop speaks out after the unthinkable happens. Bishop Lamor Whitehead went live on Instagram after about three armed black men robbed him and his wife, Asia K. DosReis-Whitehead, during a livestreamed service. Bishop Whitehead thanked churchgoers, the NYPD and others live for all their concerned calls.
Corresponding The New York Post, the man of God was in the middle of his sermon at around 11:14 a.m. at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie, police said. In the live stream, he said the men robbed him, his wife and possibly churchgoers of valuable jewelry worth $400,000. Reports describe some of the jewelry the bishop was wearing at the time of the raid: a long gold chain and a large ring on each finger.
As the live continued, he assured viewers that the act of violence did not frighten him. “We’re pushing. We’re still doing what we have to do,” Bishop Whitehead said. “I’m not a suburban; I’m from Brooklyn, I’m from the city. i understand the streets This bishop, I am not afraid.”
Although he is not afraid, the women of the church are shocked by the incident. He explained that they were traumatized. While Bishop Whitehead was able to see the men’s faces through the mask and identify the getaway vehicle, which was a white Mercedes Benz CLA. In addition to the description, he shared that he ran after the suspects, where they got into the car and changed.
