Larsen is accused of sexually abusing at least three underage boys over an unspecified amount of time. The ages of the victims are unknown at this time. Her other son also said that Larsen touched him inappropriately when he visited Larsen’s home.

The third victim is believed to be friends with the other two and told detectives that Larsen interacted with him in inappropriate ways that made him feel uncomfortable. When the boy asked Larsen to stop, he ignored the request and kept going.

In a statement sent to WESH, the chapter of Larsen’s Boy Scouts of America condemned his actions and said he was no longer involved with the group.

Eric Magendatz, Executive Director of the Central Florida Council of America, wrote in the statement: “The actions alleged to have been taken by John Larsen are reprehensible and go against all that the Scout Association holds. The United States of America stood up. “Upon learning of these charges and his arrest, we took immediate action to bar him from participating in Scouting.”

Due to Larsen’s association with the Boy Scouts, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office believes there may have been more victims in his actions. As part of his former position, Larsen will visit schools to recruit children for the team.
