Brandi Glanville claims Lisa Vanderpump tried to ruin her life

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Brandi Glanville opened up about her broken relationship with Lisa Vanderpump.

In an interview on the podcast “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef”. Posted on Monday February 20th, 2023, the Bravo graduate said that while she had some good years with the former RHOBH queen bee, everything changed when she realized Vanderpump was “manipulative”.

On the podcast, Glanville revealed that she came to RHOBH with no real friends and that it was Vanderpump who “saved” her by championing her within the group.

“I felt like I found a real friend because we hung out off the show and I was at family dinners and I really felt like this woman saved me because at the time everyone hated me and thought everything what I said was a lie,” Glanville told Yontef. “And when she finally saw it, she said, ‘You guys are terrible to that person.’ And she took me under her wing.”

Glanville, who left RHOBH in 2015, has called Vanderpump “manipulative” in the past. She told it once the podcast “Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino”. that Vanderpump plans their every move. “She’s very concerned about how she’s doing,” Glanville said in 2018. per reality blurb. “She is strategic and manipulative. …And she keeps reminding you that the only reason you’re on this show is because she lets you be.”

Five years later, Glanville reflected on her use of the word “manipulative” when describing the wealthy past restaurant owner.

“When I said God forbid she was manipulative, that’s, sorry, not a big, terrible thing,” Glanville said. “I know a lot of manipulative people who are my friends. When I said that, I didn’t think it would be the end of the road for me. If you tease Lisa, she won’t get over it. She’ll get you for years. She will try to ruin your business, make you irrelevant and not getting jobs. It’s almost like she’ll always say negative things about me for the rest of her life.”

In 2019, Glanville posted a scathing tweet about Vanderpump. “My truth about LVP is that she tried to ruin my life! She had employees throw my wine in the trash, she made ultimatums on the show, it’s either her or me, she conveniently lost her memory during my legal battle that cost me all my life savings. So yeah, she’s my very own personal devil,” the Unfiltered podcast host wrote at the time.

She told Yontef that she now knows her friendship with the Vanderpump Rules star was fake. “You know, I don’t miss anything [the friendship] anymore because I realized it wasn’t real,” she said. “And it breaks my heart to know that I was just someone she could control and she did it because I looked up to her and thought this woman saved me and I will do whatever she says, because she’s god, you know? ”

Glanville doesn’t blame Vanderpump entirely for her fall on RHOBH. She told Yontef that by season 5 she had no friends on the show and was alone “on an island”. “I mean, I think that Lisa, like she didn’t want to be my girlfriend and put on her makeup, it had a little bit to do with it, but I kind of knew I was getting fired,” she admitted.

Glanville added that she felt vindicated when Vanderpump was in a similar boat. “I was so damn happy,” she told Yontef. “Like that bitch, she kept trying to ruin my life and we won’t get into what her minions are doing to me, but when I finally said she was being manipulative, and then everyone was like, ‘Um god, yes, that is she.’ Like she screwed everyone. As if she were now on an island. … Everyone was against them. It’s like for me it’s like you don’t have a boyfriend, you don’t have a job.”

Glanville clarified that Vanderpump left the show on her own terms by refusing to show up for the Season 9 reunion. She also revealed that while she avoids Vanderpump in public — when she sees her car at the mall where she has a post office box, she sneaks around the back to pick up her mail to avoid her — she hits on her former contacted co-star via email when She had a riding accident Early 2022 but haven’t heard from her.

“I just texted her because at the end of the day I’m not a bad person and I don’t want anything bad to happen to her healthwise,” Glanville explained. “Would you like to see her lose some money? Yes.”

The former RHOBH star also made it clear that there’s little chance she’ll ever be friends with the SUR owner again.

“NO. Me really, unless she comes up to me and gives me like $560,000 — I won’t go into why it’s that number — and says, ‘I’m sorry I tried all ruining your business and please accept my deepest regrets and apologies.’ Otherwise, no,” Glanville said.
