Former NFL player Brendan Langley recently took to Twitter to share his side of the story after videos of his fight at Newark Airport with a United Airlines employee went viral.

Videos of a fight between the star and the employee surfaced online on Monday, May 23.

Shortly after the clips went viral, United Airlines released a statement through their spokesperson. Brendan has now taken to Twitter to share his side of the story.

Brendan Langley says he “begged” for help.

Brendan, who once played for the Denver Broncos in the NFL, took to Twitter on May 23 to comment on the airport incident.

He claims in one of his tweets that several United Airlines employees were standing nearby when the fight took place. He went on to say that many airline employees “stand by and watch it all unfold while I’m basically begging for help.”

“The craziest part was that none of them helped de-escalate the situation!” the star continued.

Comment on the fight videos floating around, Brendan further claimed: “Every angle shows me walking away from mate, I had a whole a** flight this morning, I didn’t want any smoke!”

HITC has reached out to United Airlines for comment on Brendan’s claims. But at the time of publishing this article, an answer has yet to be received.

Former NFL star arrested after Newark airport brawl

That Daily mail reported that the 27-year-old former NFL player was arrested Thursday, May 19, after the fight took place.

He was reportedly charged with a single charge of simple assault.

After the incident, the airline worker was reportedly taken to hospital and treated for an eye injury.

United Airlines fires employees after airport brawl

This was announced by a spokesman for United Airlines TMZ that the unnamed employee was fired after the incident.

The company commented on the incident The spokesman told The Daily Mail: “United Airlines has no tolerance for violence at our airports or on board our aircraft and we are working with local authorities to further investigate the matter.”
